Families living at Sunrise House continue their case management for eighteen months with professional staff while focusing on their housing search, financial management and daily living skills. In preparation for permanent housing, families at Sunrise House pay the amount of net income that is in accord with Section 8 rental assistance and make a sliding scale contribution toward payment of utilities. IHN is also offering case management support for all clients once they have acquired their own permanent housing. PHASE II -- 18 Month Supported Case Management IHN is also offering case management support for all clients once they have acquired their own permanent housing. In response to an identified gap in service to previously homeless clients, IHN also offers case management for 18 months to help clients maintain independence once they have acquired their own permanent housing having the support to maintain their independence.
PHASE III -- Continuum of Housing With the grant of two project-based Section 8 vouchers for IHNSC our clients may qualify for one of two apartments owned by Trading Post Realty as space permits. We now have the ability to help clients who have started in our Emergency Shelter, have completed their case work to move to Sunrise House and move on to the their own affordable housing -- complete with case management and support services.
